At the invitation of the Budapest Mayor, a group of artists from Hcm city will go to Hungary on June 19.
The visit is co-organised by the Hcm city Department of Culture and Information and the HCM City Show Organising and Movies Centre.
HCM City artists will have their first show on June 21, serving Vietnamese in Hungary. They will give a 60-minute performance on June 28 to serve Budapest audiences, under a music festival named “Goodbye Budapest”.
This is an annual festival held by Budapest authorities in late June, with guests invited from all over the world. This is the first time Budapest has invited an art troupe from Vietnam
Joining the group will be Honoured Artist Ta Minh Tam, singer Tung Duong, Nam Dong Ke girl band, dancer Ta Thuy Chi, traditional musical instrument player Hoang Anh, song writer Viet Anh and some others.
Vietnamese singers will bring famous Vietnamese sings to Budapest, such as Love Song by Hoang Viet, My Homeland by Le Minh Son, Aspiration by Pham Minh Tuan, Let’s Love Each Other by Trinh Cong Son, Lake on Mountain by Pho Duc Phuong, etc.
Ta Thuy Chi will perform unique dances, namely love duets and a Thai dance, while Hoang Anh will play Vietnamese musical works on monochord.
During their time in Budapest, Vietnamese artists will visit the Budapest Music Conservatory and meet with the Budapest Symphony Orchestra and Vietnamese in Hungary.
