Presentation Show Appeals to Audience - Miss Universe contestants

Charming performances of Miss Universe contestants at the Presentation Show featuring swimwear and gown competition receive shouts of encouragement from the audience at the Crown Convention Center in Nha trang Tuesday.

After a bikini show, the stage was splendid with young women dressed in evening dress and many wonderful gowns.

The judges selected 15 of the 80 contestants for a final round next Monday. The names will not be announced until the day of the competition on July 14.

The U.S. television network NBC is allowing members of the public to choose the “Best in Traditional Costume” in a poll at its Web site at www.nbc.com/Miss_Universe_2008.
